Mount Shasta 2026 Trail Challenge Kicks Off!

The Mt. Shasta Visitor Center is proud to be the host of the Mount Shasta Trail Association’s 2026 Trail Challenge. The Trail Challenge offers participants the opportunity to travel to trails and vistas perhaps not previously explored and provides fun incentives to complete the trails, including a full sheet of collector stickers and other rewards.

Come to the Mt. Shasta Visitor Center to participate in this beloved town challenge!

Details of the 2026 Trail Challenge:

The theme for 2026 is SNOW and the new Learning Zone trails

Sample of Collector Stickers Courtesy of the Mount Shasta Trail Association. The first 100 participants will receive this full sheet of stickers along with a hat.

How to participate

1. Download and print your Trail Challenge passport. You can also come into the Visitor Center and pick one up for free.

2. Choose which trails you want to complete and fill out your passport as you complete your trails.

3. Be one of the first 100 participants to complete at least 6 trails and come back to the Visitor Center to drop your passport off for approval.

4. Receive your free collector items, including a sheet of collector stickers and either a full insulated bottle, a trail bell, or a hat.
