Embark on a unique foraging experience and discover the culinary delight of Butter Boletes and Spring Kings with Mikhael Crystallah-Selk in the breathtaking landscapes surrounding Mt. Shasta.
This immersive class offers a rare opportunity to connect with nature and learn the art of wild mushroom identification in one of California's most pristine environments. While focusing on boletes, we will also learn other montane mushrooms, and the trees the various fungi are associated with.
This class is offered April 11, 12, 25, 26 (not a series)
Where
Mount Shasta area. Exact location provided with registration. You can get lodging or camp in the Mount Shasta or Dunsmuir area. Please plan to drive up to an additional hour in carpools from our meeting point to where the mushrooms are, they move around as conditions change! We scout extensively and will do our best to set you up for success and take you to them.
