''Family-owned since 1990, our motel, originally named ''Pine Needels Motel '', was built in the early 70's by founder Charlie Needels. Guests often pointed out the mis-spelling in ''Needels'' which led his late father to rename the motel to ''A1 Choice Inn'' in 1999.

Hiten Patel, the son, is now the owner of the motel and is returning back to their origins with a corrected name, ''Pine Needles Inn,'' as part of their renovations and rebranding.

Hiten Patel was raised here and educated from kindergarten through high school. He has deep roots in our community and as the current owner he is committed to strengthening these ties and fostering a bright future together.''
